How To Become a High5 Host

In just three simple steps you could be on your way to making your campervan or motorhome work for you.

1. Register

List your vehicle through our state of the art membership portal. Its unique design was developed around simplicity, security and seamless communication. Insert your personal and vehicle details and get verified by our team of dedicated professionals.

2. Verify
As soon as you have registered, our team of experts will immediately start the verification process. This is to ensure the security of both your vehicle and our rental customers. Here at High5 we take this process seriously to ensure a safe, memorable and stress-free experience for all. Verification should take no longer than 6hrs.

3. Earn

We will deal with all of the communication, booking and transfer of finances. This will ensure all you have to worry about is greeting your guests and handing your vehicle over. We also provide a step-by-step guide to ensuring this is a smooth and stress-free process, along with 24hr access to our customer engagement team. As soon as you have handed the keys over we will start the process of transferring your funds into your account within 24hrs – it’s that simple!

Listing Management

Once registered you will have access to our state of the art Host portal, full of useful features to manage your listing. You will be able to customise your profile, set seasonal rates and authorise all bookings prior to completion.

Booking System

Our booking system puts you in control. You will be notified via email of all booking requests prior to conformation. You will be able to set custom availability dates along with customisable rates to suit your needs.

Prices and Fees

Our running costs are supplemented via a 10% Renter booking fee and an 8% Host service charge taken from the vehicle booking cost. This ensures our fees are split fairly between both Host and Renter and provides a cost effective service for all.

Creating an Account

How do I create a Host account?

We have designed our Host portal to be intuitive and simplistic, whilst providing all the security and assurance you would expect.

Click the become a host option from the top of the screen or drop-down menu.
Choose one of three options to create your account (Facebook, Google Email). The first two options are the most efficient as they pull your personal details and profile photo from your account. High5 will never have access to your social media accounts.
The next step would be to verify your email address. This can be done by clicking the link in the conformation email – ensure you check your spam emails if it’s not in your inbox.
You are now registered and can list your first vehicle!

What information do you require from me?

Once you login you will have to fill out some details on the profile tab to get you started:

Your Name: This will enable customers to engage with you. It is also recommended you upload a profile photo to help connect with potential travellers.
Contact & Address Details: These details will only be shared with customers once they have a confirmed booking and have made payment. It also enables us to make contact with you to provide support if needed.
Bank Details: These are required so we can pay you the full amour of each booking. Customers will not have access to these details under any circumstances.

High5 Camping will never share your data with third parties and comply with GDPR requirements.

Why do I need to verify with ID?

To ensure we protect our hosts and customers, every registration will go through an id verification process.

Can I use more than one payment method to pay for a reservation?

What are the vehicle requirements to advertise through High5?

To ensure the safety of our customers and hosts, we ask that each vehicle adheres to the following requirements:

The vehicle must have tax, MOT and insurance in place before it is to be rented out.
UK law requires a gas safety certificate in order to hire out your vehicle. You can use the following link to access the UK database of gas certified engineers.
You must ensure your vehicle is in good shape. The best way to do this is have an annual habitation check through an approved workshop. The following link will take you to a list of independently assessed UK workshops.
