Before opting for our High5 Daily Cover, it’s crucial to verify that your vehicle meets the minimum requirements. You’ll receive prompts during the vehicle listing process to confirm that your vehicle falls into the appropriate category.
To get started, you’ll first need to register for a Host account by clicking on the registration link located in the top right-hand corner of the screen. After registering, please remember to check your spam folder for the verification email, as you’ll need to click on it to verify your account.
After registering, you’ll need to complete all your profile details and undergo ID verification, which typically only takes a few minutes. Once your ID verification is successfully completed, you’re all set to proceed!
When submitting your vehicle listing, you’ll be prompted to choose your insurance setup. If you don’t have your own self-drive hire insurance policy, make sure to select ‘High5 Daily Cover’ to utilise our integrated insurance and breakdown policy provider. Once your listing is approved by our expert onboarding team, your insurance policies will automatically generate at the checkout for the renter to purchase.
Please note: Since renters are required to pay additional fees for insurance, we recommend reducing your nightly rate by approximately £20 to accommodate this. You can refer to our Pricing Table Guide, available in the pricing stage of the listing process, for further assistance.
Once the renter arrives, you can easily verify their insurance policy by accessing the booking within your profile. Inside, you’ll find both the insurance documentation and breakdown cover. Simply check their driver’s license upon arrival to ensure that the named driver matches the details provided in the insurance policy. This ensures a smooth and secure rental experience for both parties involved.
All High5 Daily Insurance policies come with the option to reduce the mandatory 2k excess down to £500. This option is presented at the final checkout once the Host has confirmed the requested booking dates are available. The policy is charged at £8.40 per day and has a compulsory excess of £250 against all claims. As long as there is no further damage to the vehicle, outside of what is covered through the excess reduction cover, the Renter will receive £250 refund, even if a claim is made against the policy. The complete breakdown of the policy will be provided within the booking section of both Host & Renter portal once the policy is purchased.

We have designed our Host and Renter portal to be intuitive and simplistic, whilst providing all the security and assurance you would expect.
Once you login you will have to fill out your profile details and get verified before either listing or renting through High5 Camping:
High5 Camping will never share your data with third parties and comply with GDPR requirements.
To ensure we protect our Hosts and Renters, every registration will go through an ID verification process. This can be done your Drivers License. These details are not shared with anyone and are used for ID verification process only.
Account verification is completed via a link sent through email. Please check your spam folder if it does not appear in your inbox.
Click the email verification link and proceed to complete your profile details in.
Renters do not need to input any payment details as part of registration, they just pick their preferred payment method at the checkout and proceed to payment – High5 does not store Renter bank details.
Host’s can update or change their bank details through the profile tab within the Host portal. All profile updates are referred to High5 Admin team for verification before going live – this may take a few minutes and you will be informed via email once complete.
